As someone else mentioned, try watching MrLlamaSC item and rune value video series on YouTube. You can craft Pul Runes with a Horadric Cube using 3 Lem + 1 Flawed Emerald (Ladder Only) and also has a chance to drop in Act 4 (Nightmare) Difficulty. demons when socketed in a Weapon and +30 defense if its an Armor. Diablo 2 Resurrected Pul Rune will +75 damage to demons, +100 attack rating vs. If I were newish and got an Ohm I would personally break it down into many lower value runes like the Um to Gul range (a mix of runs in that range, not just those two) and use that as a seed to start my wealth through trading.
There are many good things you could trade for ohm.
Ohm is quite valuable and most would consider it a High Rune (HRs start at vex in my book). Just don't use it to buy a low stat Druid, Barb, or Nec torch. You could even get a decent torch that is not for sorc or paladin. Gul is between Mal and Ohm and will let you buy some really nice items. Nothing crazy powerful, but still more than usable for magic finding/farming.
Mal is a little higher and will let you buy a solid piece of armor or weapon. Technically lem is still traded too, but pul is really where most people start dealing in runes as currency. Pul is kind of the bottom of tradeable rune value - not meaning it is worth nothing, there are lots of decent items you can get for pul.
